Two days ago my computer desktop, Gateway 333c was fine, then all of the sudden the keyboard and mouse froze, I had to just power off the PC because it was completely frozen. Now the PC just stays on ON, I disconnect it and reconnect, and it automatically is ON, and the screen is black, so I don't know what can be going on. I tried leaving it disconnected for a full day, tried a different outlet and nothing. It is connected to a surge. Any suggestiona, please help. Share this post Link to post
American Zombie 0 Posted September 21, 2005 Sounds like either power supply or motherboard problem. First try turning off the power supply with the switch on the back of PC then plug PC in and turn switch back on. If that does not work then try resetting the CMOS. Share this post Link to post
