Cormac 0 Posted October 19, 2005 Someone posted in here not to long ago a link for a site that tests anti-virus software. The site tested I think the top 25 programs. Can you repost the link? Thank you Share this post Link to post
Relic 0 Posted October 19, 2005 I'm pretty sure this is the link you're looking for, it's been updated, now there's a total of 37 AVP's tested. http://overclockers.com/articles1260/ Share this post Link to post
Cormac 0 Posted October 20, 2005 Thanks for the link Relic it looks like a good site but the one I am looking for had more info on the types of viruses and trojans and gave more detail on each programs results. It also had a section of programs that were exclusive to their members only. I believe it was either American Zombie or Dos Freak that posted the link. I'll send a pm to them and see if they remember. Thanks again though Share this post Link to post

Cormac 0 Posted October 20, 2005 Thanks for the posting dosfreak, I have seen that site before and it is a really good one but it isn't the one I am looking for. Thanks again for posting the link Share this post Link to post

Relic 0 Posted October 21, 2005 I created a folder in my bookmarks for these sites, found another good one myself...... http://forum.pcstats.com/showthread.php?p=227591#post227591 Share this post Link to post
Relic 0 Posted October 21, 2005 BTW, to test your curent AVP, dwnld these files, if it doesn't bust them on the dwnld, it should when you attempt to open/unzip them. The file date is 2003, but it's updated constantly, so trust me, it's 2005. http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm Share this post Link to post
