windows XP and Tie Fighter

alrighty!

 

I have Windows XP SP2, and i have an realtek AC97 Audio Controller. I cannot get my sound to work!

 

I have read previous posts, and have tried the VDMSound Emulator Thingy, but it doesnt seem to help...

 

any quips of advice for me?

Could try the latest Realtek AC'97 drivers that came out about a week ago.

well thats fine, but my controller isnt 'compatible'...there is no realtek thingy on there!
