External Maxtor Hardrive is not recognised "no autorun" I hope this info can hel someone point me in the right direction Guys I aint got a clue !! Relic 0 Posted November 20, 2005 Does XP Home have "system restore"? I run XP Pro, so I have no idea if Home has it. If it does, restore to a point before you installed "belarc". ***EDIT*** forget that, just found out what "belarc" is, heh heh heh. Update you audio drivers, head to your mobo/pc builder's website, and download new drivers for your mobo and onboard sound. If you can't find them, I'll help you hunt them down. ingwingfingerling 0 Posted November 22, 2005 Thanks I run Driver Detective and it state the following are bad drivers DE ATA/ATAPI controllers SiS PCI IDE UDMA Controller Display adapters SiS 650_651_M650_740 Network adapters VIA Bus Master IDE Controller VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller I have tried to find these drivers but to no avail ..
