Palos 0 Posted March 3, 2000 Just came back from CeBIT and I was told by Powerquest representatives that they have a patch in the works due for release sometime in April... Conclusion: do not convert all your partitions to NTFS if you have the slightest thought of going back to W9x (or dual booting). Share this post Link to post
Ge0ph 0 Posted March 3, 2000 You can make boot floppys of PM5 and use it to change NTFS to FAT32. When you alter partitions you should do it from floppys anyway, it's safer. The only thing the patch will do is let you install PM5 onto W2k. Share this post Link to post
Palos 0 Posted March 3, 2000 EXACTLY, run under W2K? But why the hell do i want to use floppies, isn't it kinda old-fashioned, and a pain in the ass (esp.with PM5). I never used floppies under NT or 9x, just ran the program from a nice GUI and everything... Share this post Link to post
euankirkhope 0 Posted March 3, 2000 Doing it dos is safer, Simpler, sometimes faster, (and works when Windows doesn't) Share this post Link to post
