mjwebb007 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Just a question... I have an MSI Neo4 Platinum board. I want to build a file server with a massive amount of drive space. I want to use an Opteron 165 with this mobo along with WinXP x64. My question is will this work? The Opteron 165 is a 939 pin proc and I am pretty sure it will work with this board. Also, if I use this particular mobo/proc combination, do I need to use ECC or registered RAM or can I use "regular" RAM? Thanks for the help. Share this post Link to post
