morris dancer 0 Posted January 2, 2006 Can someone please help me! ive installed the sims 2 dvd version and are having problems! the game installed ok but when I go to play the game the screen goes black straight away. Ive tried every thing , ive got the latest driver for my grphics card ive installed the sims2 patch! i have a brand new computer with more than enough spec required Micrisoft xp home edition - Intel Pentium 4 519 Processor - 3.0GHz, 533MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache - 1024MB DDR RAM - 160GB Hard Disk Drive - Multi-Format Dual Layer DVD-RW Drive - 256MB GE Force 6200 Graphics Can someone please help! DosFreak 2 Posted January 2, 2006 You said you installed the latest graphics driver? Did you download it from Nvidia? Sometimes the newest graphics drivers don't always work out and you may have better luck using the drivers that came on the CD with the graphics card. If you don't have the original graphics card CD then try earlier Nvidia drivers. Share this post Link to post
