Help!! I just cant figure this one out!

I have a Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 motherboard, Celeron 2.53/533, 256 Micron ram and a basic agp video card.

 

I have tried different power supplies, ram, motherboard, and a celeron 2.66.... this thing will just not post. No sound from speaker with either boards, ram or PS. I have taken the board out of the case .......

 

What could be wrong?

Have you tried a different vidcard?

Take out the modem also it may be causing that.
