lost user account

i had a problem with my windows that caused me to repair it using the xp disk..... but now when i boot up, my user account is gone.... the folder is still there in the C:\documents and settings.... but it says access denied when i click it..... can anyone direct me how to recover the files from inside???? are there any programs or tricks to get in???

i mean, i can even see the files being scanned when i run antivirus/spyware software
