Start up order

Is there a way of changing the order in which programs start during boot up ? I run Norton live update at start up but it loads first and then sits there whilst everything else boots before connecting to ther internet to check for updates. Can I force this to start last after everything else ?

There should be a way in the options menu to set it up so that it doesn't start at boot up.
