The sims 2 open for business freezes at loading menu?

I recentley copied the sims 2 open for business. As i go to play it using a virtual drive it loads up past the MAXIS logo then you get a green bar at the top loading. It freezes at the end of the green bar and the sound plays back on itself. Can anybody help me?

I have the same problem. I was trying to install open for business, and it doesen't work - same problem as yours. So if you find any solution, post it.
