Kurtz 0 Posted May 31, 2006 when attempting to open particular wav, jpeg, or movie files in Outlook I am receiving the following error message: "This File does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel." What is the fix for this? Thanks Share this post Link to post
thatsteveguy 0 Posted May 31, 2006 The solution is exactly what the message recomends you do?! open up explorer and go into tools>folder options>file types and associate that type of file with an application. I would recommend however for security reasons you don't run ANYTHING from within Outlook Express just save it, scan for viruses then use whatever application you normally use for playing/viewing those types of files.
