mohantygc 0 Posted June 8, 2006 Dear All: I am seeing a BLOD on my laptop computer screen, with this message: STOP: 0x00000024 (ox00190203, 0x82F612B8, 0xC0000102, 0x00000000). When I try a hard restart, I cannot even restart in safe mode, and the laptop reverts to the same message: STOP: 0x00000024 (ox00190203, 0x82F612B8, 0xC0000102, 0x00000000), after spewing out a lot of text on the screen of which I can just read some because they go so fast, and what I read is something like: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\systems32\DRIVERS\... Someone kindly help on what I need to do. Thanks & Regards, Girish Mohanty Share this post Link to post
Wilhelmus 1 Posted June 8, 2006 Double-click My Computer, and then select the hard disk you want to check. On the File menu, click Properties. Click the Tools tab. In the Error-checking box, click Check Now. In Check disk options, select the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box. Select also the Automatically fix file system errors check box. If the volume you are checking is in use, a message asks whether you want to delay disk error checking until the next time you restart your computer. After you restart, disk error checking runs and the volume chosen is not available to run other tasks during this process. Share this post Link to post
