installation problems on wxp pro of wc4

need help in installing wing commander 4 on window xp pro

im not an expert tfore wld need a step by step guide of what to do. i have downloaded the wc4win95 patch but when I click on the install the dos window open just for and instant and then close. if i run the install from dos windows i get a this message " pls run down to your local store and buy it"

pls note that wc4 files are installed in the c:\wc4 directory

Sounds like a illegal program, so you won't get any help here for it. A word of advice, if you like the game then do what the message is telling you to do.
