manpan 0 Posted July 15, 2006 HELP! I was online paying some bills and a storm hit. Usually I shut off immediately but this time the electric went on the first clap of thunder. I went to boot up later and now the computer goes through the checks, recognizes everything and goes to the option of booting in safe mode...etc. I have tried all but when the windows symbol comes up and the little line starts moving left to right, a blue screen flashes (I don't know what it says as it's too fast and I can't freeze it...how can I do that so I can read it?) Anyway, I've tried recovery and everything to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions???? ;( Share this post Link to post
bchilly 0 Posted July 25, 2006 oh no!!! blue screen of death! sounds like a corrupted file to me. I had the same problem except I couldn't boot in safe mode either. First you should check all the errors in the event viewer to see if you can find the file in question. Share this post Link to post
