Fifa 97 please help

hi

could someone please tell me how to install fifa 97 on windows xp?

 

when i try to install i get an error message saying 'couldnt find cd-rom' then 'couldnt determine language' then it just closes.

 

any help at all will be much appreciated

done that now and installed

 

but now when i try to play the game it just doesnt load, no eror messages anything

Have you tried setting the compatibility mode for what operating system that game requires.

Just right click on the games icon and choose properties and then the compatibility tab and set it for what the game needs.

when i try that though it loads a blank black screen then quickly quits back to desktop.

 

someone as told me to try dosbox, so ill give that a go but it sounds a bit complicated for me (never used anything like dos before)
