Sims 2 dvd edition Please help!!

I have sims 2 speical dvd edition , but when I try to install it my computer starts to read it then stops . Is it because I dont have a dvd player in my computer ??. I also have sims university which my computer will read and brings the install thing up , but that doesn't do any good if I dont have sims 2 installed . Am I doing something wrong ? , can someone please help ??. Thx.

If the game is in DVD disc, you'll need DVD drive.

 

Buy DVD drive,

make sure that your computer* meets the requirements,

install Sims 2,

install University,

play Sims 2, with University DVD, in DVD drive.

 

*) Use the PC Wizard to see your computer specifications, if you don't know.
