KarenL81 0 Posted September 21, 2006 I keep getting the blue screen of death when I attempt to play The Sims 2 with the University expansion pack. The error says the crash apparently is related to the file ati3duag.dll. I've read up on this online and it seems to be a common problem, but the fixes I've seen are not related to my computer. I have DirectX already installed (the latest version 9), and the latest drivers for my graphics card. It used to crash only when I attempted to exit the game, and I unistalled and reinstalled the game, and it now crashes at various times. Computer info is as follows: OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600 OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Manufacturer Dell Inc. Everything is accelerated, up to date, turned on, etc. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? Share this post Link to post
Cormac 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Hi Karen, The problem is your graphics card. Go to this website and download the dll and run it. Hopefully that will fix the problem for you. http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/A/ati3duag.dll/6.14.10.0231/download.html Share this post Link to post
