Pariah 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Hi guys, I just installed Privateer 2 on my comp. I'm running winXP but I've gotten it installed and it runs through the first 3 intro movies, the screen fades to black and then it crashes! Has anyone encountered this problem? I'm not sure if it's because I've got a damaged file or if it's just winXP/DosBox acting up. Someone help! Share this post Link to post
Rotoblues 0 Posted December 27, 2006 Pariah, Trust me when I say I am not a PC expert, but like you I loved Privateer 2. I went to perli.net/projekte/privateer2win95/ and followed the instructions...it worked! While the in-game sound is less than desired, I am now fully back into this game.
