cmxz1 0 Posted November 15, 2006 Ive got soundcard problem(i have win XP) i downloaded a movie and when i try to play it it says Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly. soundcard:intel 82801AA I/O controller hub - AC97 audio adapter(from Everest) Share this post Link to post
Wilhelmus 1 Posted November 15, 2006 Can you give information about your motherboard as well? That is onboard soundcard, not an external PCI card. Share this post Link to post
