Karebac 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I know you have some other posts here on this Logitech Issue, but I cant really make head or tail out of them. I plugged the cam in BEFORE installing the cd. So what should I do now. Should I unintall something? Should I install the cd anyway. It comes up with a picture of me. I dont have anyone yet to test skype. So it does show my picture in the test. Does this mean it is ok? If you use this cam with skype, anybody, can you help me test sometime? I tried to register at logitech, and their site keeps crashing with an error. I wrote the webmaster, but maybe you folks here can advise me? It seemed to find drivers already in my dell without the CD install. What should I do next. I feel real bad that I plugged the cam in first, before install, and made such a problem! Thanks! Share this post Link to post
peterh 1 Posted November 30, 2006 Best thing to do is look at Device Manager and check to see if it has installed a driver that does not match your QuickCam. If it has then you can uninstall it, if not then you should be ok. Disconnect the Quickcam, insert the CD and then install the drivers. Share this post Link to post
