Latent 0 Posted March 12, 2000 Looking for someone who might have some info on getting a PcTel V.90 PCI modem working with Win2000? I have an AMS roadster laptop and it won't recognize the on board modem, but it does find a device called "XT Serial" but I can't do anything with it. Tried the win98 drivers just for kicks but had no luck. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
zildjian 0 Posted March 12, 2000 Go to www.pcchips.com and find their modem drivers for Windows 2000. The site is really slow, it took me several attempts to download the drivers on a T1. But, once you get them, they should work. I have an HSP MicroModem 56, but they're all made from the same HSP made by PCTel, so the drivers should have a good chance of working. Hope that helps you. Latent 0 Posted March 13, 2000 Thanks alot! You're right, their site is slow as molasses in January but if those drivers work I'll be happy. Thanks again!
