emperor_567 0 Posted January 5, 2007 I have just bought a new MP3 player and a CD with music to put on. I connect it up to the computer with everything done properly, and then the mouse freezes. The first time i connected it up a little balloon saying "New hardware found. Click here to install this device" came up. But i couldnt as the mouse froze. There are two USB ports that are both being used so I took one USB cord out temporarily. The two permenant ones are for the printer and broadband. Nothing for the mouse. I opened Windows Media player (Using keyboard) and it says that there is no device connected. What can i do? Ive tried basically everything i know to do. The operating system is Windows XP.
