Red Alert II Help with LAN

Recommended Posts

you will need 2 copies of the game, or one copy per computer. Both computers must be connected to a router. after that you must run the network wizard.after that you have to enable the IPX mode by installing from your local area connection properties. Where it says "this connection uses the following" highlight client for microsoft network and click on the install button.highlight and add client and protocol. This will enable your IPX. You might have to restart your computer after this procedure. Next load the game into your computers, after they load click on options and then network. those numbers you see on the top line represent your network card. the other computers must copy these numbers on the third line. the bottom type box and . must be put inbetween the numbers for example 2e.44.ty.6d then click on ok and your ready to play. good luck.
