Blocking torrent on my wifi AP.

I share my access point with all the peeps that wants it.

So called non secure wireless network access point

Yes i know how to secure it so they cant connect, but I have to ADSL lines in my home and I like the free principle so that peeps with no

broadband at home can browse , read email etc.

What i dont like however is the way they are stealing all the bandwidth away using torrents.

Is there a easy way to cap clients up/down speed and block away FTP/Torrent?

If there is, i would surely like to know. Ofcourse, i can hack their box and just make their boxes refuse to use torrents, but that would be just impolite.
