mada355 0 Posted April 19, 2007 I have a sager laptop; it was loaded w/xp and worked fine. Recently after rebooting it goes through setup/ram/etc....then goes straight to a screen that prompts me to "put in boot disc and press any key".... I put in my winxp disk and rebooted and it goes through the normal startup; ram/etc....then it says "checking boot disk: "NO EMULATION BOOTING"....then goes to a black screen and says "checking system config"..that last for a few seconds and then blank screen and the cd rom stops running. I have tried over and over and keep getting the same thing. I am pretty computer literate and normally know how to troubleshoot but this "No EMULATION BOOTING" has stomped me. Anyone know how to fix or have any ideas???????? Share this post Link to post
