charistheos 0 Posted April 23, 2007 HELP! HELP! I can't get into my pc. Can't get to safe mode or other options, "last good config, command prompt, etc" Tried F8, nothing works. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've had about 5 different computers so far and this has never happened before. Share this post Link to post
bchilly 0 Posted April 23, 2007 We need more info. You need to tell us exactly what is happening, are you just never progressing past the boot screen (windows logo) or are you receiving a blue screen of death before windows loads? What exactly were you doing before this happened? Share this post Link to post
charistheos 0 Posted April 23, 2007 I am never progressing past the boot screen. No, I'm not receiving the "blue screen of death" Thank goodness! Before this happened the computer was turned off and I turned it on to find the boot screen. Share this post Link to post
crusaderjack 0 Posted April 24, 2007 do you have the same message as me? autochk program not found - skipping AUTOCHECK then the blue screen with The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down. Share this post Link to post
danleff 0 Posted April 24, 2007 At what point exactly does the system stop? Do you get any error messages at all? Do you just get a cursor with no message? Give as much information as you can, as the problem could be a multitude of things, depending on where the system stops. Do you hear any noises, beeps, grinding......? Were there any problems when the system was last used, which was when? Share this post Link to post
charistheos 0 Posted April 24, 2007 No error messages other than black boot up screen w/safe mode options and all options don't work. No cursor with message. Only noise is fan turning on when computer is turned on. No problems when the system was last used which was Sunday 4-22-07. Share this post Link to post
Wilhelmus 1 Posted April 25, 2007 Try this if you have not yet. From the boot menu (same menu where are the safe mode options), select the 'Disable automatic restart on system failure' option. This prevents Windows from rebooting when BSOD occurs and you can see it. Share this post Link to post
