dbsr 0 Posted November 2, 2007 hi can anyone help just bought a new laptop intel pentium duel-core T2080 x86 2gig ram sound: intel 943gml (calistoga) + ICH7-M running Vista Home Premium.. was runing a 2.8ghz toshiba running vista home basic and this game worked fine with no probblems what so ever... just installed it with no probs on the new laptop and get to run the game the main screen trailer comes on " plane flying into UFO and so on" get to the main page to load game preffrences you know clicked on start new city.. opens fine.. tick the boxes after puttin in my name and city name... click the tick on the bottom right of the pane flashes up loading terrain or somthing like that in a little box and then shuts its self down ??? tried this a few times now and on the last time about 5 mins ago it is now trying to open the updater when the menu screen appers and locks it up , oh ya it wont update either even when the game is not running... omg what a head ache!! anyone got a clue what to do?
