dbegmore 0 Posted November 18, 2007 Hey, I've just got a 5.1 audio setup for my pc. It has two input modes, AUX and AC3. AUX Requires me to plugin only one socket to my motherboard while AC3 requires all 3 sockets. 1. Is AUX-in connected to the normal line out on the pc really 5.1 ?? I tried with many of mixing software but couldnt get sound on any one speaker independently. 2. I switched to AC3 using 3 sockets to my pc, after switching Audio Properties to 5.1. Here's my problem, I configured Line in as SUB/CENTER , Line out as Front and Mic as Rear, but was able to hear sound only with the front speakers. Please tell how i can switch audio properties successfully or if there are other software to do that. My Specs : XP MCE Intel G965RY (onboard Sigmatel sound - 6ch support) Core2Duo 2ghz NO SOUND CARD. I switched to 5.1 surround from the Sigmatel IDT Audio control panel applet. Any Solutions?
