lijo28 0 Posted November 30, 2007 Hi I have P III with 1.13A cpu with 256 MB ram, but know i want to increase one more 256 mb ram into it but when i add 256mb ram into it the systems starts but after an hour or so it gets hangs up and i have to restart the machine as i use Autocad and WinXp for that reason i want to increase the memory. What else will be the reason for the system is hanging? Can someone tell me please. Share this post Link to post

Sampson 0 Posted December 1, 2007 As DosFreak points out, it could be one of the three things he suggests. It may also be a question of heat. After you run the memory test and make sure that your bios is the latest and it still does what it does, just remove a panel from the computer to allow more air to circulate. If it keeps running after an hour, you may need a few extra fans. Share this post Link to post
