jacksrest 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Thankyou to everyone that I asked for help but I finally worked out how to Install sims 2 on vista and for everyone else that is having trouble this is how i did it: Before Installing sims 2 try this > click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run > type in MSCONFIG > Tools (tab) > select Disable UAP > launch > restart Windows > While this is disabled renstall sims 2 > Download update and Install > Then Enable your UAP again > It should work fine then GOOD LUCK Share this post Link to post
Blessedchild42 0 Posted August 17, 2009 I have tried what you have suggested and my sims 2 double deluxe which already has its patch still freezes after creating family. I have a dell inspiron 1525 laptop with vista and i have tried everyone suggestion from all types of forums regarding this matter and I still can't play my game. This is very frustrating.
