Appiration 0 Posted February 13, 2008 I recieve an "Not enough memory for 16 color version. Release TSRs and retry" error when I run mm2.exe under DosBox 0.72. Might and Magic 1 and 3 both work fine (sound included) under DosBox. Anyone have any ideas on a fix? -Rich- --- Here are my system specs: Operating System OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition OS Version 5.1.2600 ServicePack 2.0 Product ID XXX SystemUp Time (FRESH BOOT) Internet Explorer Version 7.0.5730.13 Microsoft DirectX Version 9.0c (4.09.00.0904) OpenGL Version 5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158) Free Physical Memory 567 MB Free Page Files 5087 MB Free Virtual Memory 2008 MB Registry Maximum Size 54MB Current Size 3MB Status OK Center Processor CPU Name Intel® Celeron® CPU 2.40GHz Code Name Model 4, Stepping 1 Manufactory GenuineIntel Current Clock Speed 2394Mhz Max Clock Speed 2394Mhz Voltage 1.4V External Clock 133Mhz Serial Number XXX CPU ID x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 1 Socket Designation Socket 478 L1-Cache 16KB L2-Cache 256KB L3-Cache 0KB Motherboard Model P4S8X-MX Manufactory ASUSTeK Computer INC. Appiration 0 Posted February 13, 2008 Managed to use VDMSound to get MM2 working, albeit without sound. This program also works fine for MM1 and 3. World of Xeen (MM4-5) runs fine with VDM or DosBox (after changing the IRQ setting to 5). Any ideas to get the sound working for MM2? -Rich- Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted February 13, 2008 Run loadfix in DosBox before running MM2.....and always ask questions about DosBox on the official DosBox forums at http://vogons.zetafleet.com Share this post Link to post
