hunter40 0 Posted February 15, 2008 Hi. I tried installing ae3 and it starts off good but it takes like half an hour on a file called art3.bar. then a message pops up saying "art3.bar not found. please verify that you can access this." i click retry but it happens over and over again. What can i do? I have a windows xp proffesional with 100gigs and a ATI radeon 9200 video card. Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted February 16, 2008 Are you installing from the CD? If so try copying all of the files to your HD. If it still get's hung up then try copying the files to the HD on another computer. Share this post Link to post
hunter40 0 Posted February 29, 2008 Does that mean copy and paste direct from cd? Share this post Link to post
Myke 0 Posted March 3, 2008 Pretty much. What you can do is create a folder on your C:\ drive and drag the contents of your CD into that file. Usually, you will receive this message when there is a scratch on the CD itself. You may want to try copying the CD to see if that helps you out as well. Unless the scratch is really bad, you should be able to successfully copy the disc. Share this post Link to post
hunter40 0 Posted March 4, 2008 Yeah i tried that but it cannot copy all the files because of some protection thing. Share this post Link to post
