can't install games from cd

pls help me coz i can't install any games from a cd.. i tested 3 games so far and still can't install any.. i tried installing the cs from another computer and it works..

 

what could cause the problem?

Can your system recognize any CD put into the drive (music, game, data)?

 

If not, there may be an issue with the hardware, which might require replacing it or up[censored] firmware/drivers.

 

Also, what OS are you using? Is this game intended for use on that OS?
