Dredd 0 Posted March 13, 2000 I have an old ISA Advansys SCSI card that I need to work in Windows 2000. I ran the Microsoft upgrade checker and it failed at that. Is there any way to get this card to work. I use it just for my cd burner. Thanks Share this post Link to post
RoBoZeO 0 Posted March 14, 2000 What card do you have? I had a 5140 or 5410 or something like that... they (advansys) told me that they will not make drivers yet for it... i just got a new scsi card. Share this post Link to post
Vector Sigma 0 Posted March 21, 2000 Same here. They will try and get you to upgrade to one of their newer pci scsi cards for about 100 bucks. But you can get a the Adaptec 2906 for less than 50 and its a better card. Share this post Link to post
prog99 0 Posted March 21, 2000 My 5140 works with the generic win2k scsi driver. I posted the result yesterday. Share this post Link to post
grimm 0 Posted March 22, 2000 are you all using your card for a HP scanjet scanner? I have an adaptec SCSI card, and my scanner is detected but does not work. Share this post Link to post
