"There’s nothing like a new operating system release to really boost

computer sales. A large number of consumers may remain completely

oblivious in regard to when operating systems are released, but for

those of us who have the dates scribbled on our mental calendars, we use

this knowledge wisely. As a matter of fact, I was recently in the market

for a new iMac, but knowing that Leopard would be released in the near

future prevented me from purchasing a new computer before the OS was on

store shelves."
