dlever 0 Posted March 13, 2000 1) See the inf directory if exist OEMx.INF and OEMx.PNF files (reffered to Xtremecard ). Save these files in a safe place Nope - these dont exist in my inf directory. What now? 2) Uninstall (if installed the card) from device manage. Did that. 3) Copy DLLs files to the system32 directory Which dll's ? 4) Copy DRV file to the drivers directory Which drv file ? Am I supposed to be trying the 98 or NT Xtreme software ? Has anyone else got this card to capture video under Win 2K ? 5) Check if OEMx.inf & OEMx.pnf files exist in the inf directory 6) Reboot and when the system recognize again the card load the drivers from the "multimedia , Unkmown, AIMS" 7) If the problem continue try another PCI slot Share this post Link to post

Summoner 0 Posted March 21, 2000 I have tried every driver i could find in any combination for this card, tried every way possible to install, load drivers, unload them, install try other card drivers i have no idea and have lost hope i will try to sell the card and get the hauppage wintv which works under w2k it bites i liked this card (i got the Video Highway Extreme 8) no hope!!! ------------------ If it doesn't work, PLUG IT IN!
