newb: rh8 on a7n8x dlx, neither ethernet port recognised.

i'll keep this short and sweet, how do i add the nvidia ethernet port to the device list in redhat 8.0? i don't see nvidia listed, and i tried by chipset number 'realtek 8201bl' but i only see up to the 8100-series listed. any help would be appreciated.

try the 8139too module.

 

It should load mii also.

 

Then you should be able to do an IFCONFIG.

Have you installed the latest nForce driver package?
