Vienna, Austria - Eternal Storms Software is very proud to announce the immediate availability of the public beta of flickery - a flickr.com client for the Macintosh. flickery takes advantage of many of the new features Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard offers to provide users with the best experience possible. Browse all of flickr's photos, view and comment on pictures of your friends or upload and manage your own photos and favorites. flickery lets you do all that with style. flickr.com's web interface is pretty nice, but we thought it was about time someone brought flickr to the Mac. flickery's minimalistic interface lets you focus on what's most important - the photos. It also gives you great feedback on what you're doing, like adding photos to favorites or sets. flickery offers three ways of viewing photos: the miniature-overview of the photos where you can see multiple pictures at a time, the full-window-view which lets you view one photo at a time in better detail and lastly, the full-screen view which lets you really enjoy flickr's photos. Uploading photos to your flickr.com account is a bliss, as well. Create a snapshot with your iSight, choose a picture from your hard drive or make a screenshot, it's all up to you and all included in flickery's interface. It also gives you the possibility of editing your photos before you upload them - crop them , rotate them or add a nice effect to them. All in all, flickery is a brand new experience for working with flickr.com Pricing and Availability: The public beta of flickery will run until June 30th, 2008 and is free for everyone to try. Feedback is encouraged. flickery requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and comes as a Universal Binary. A internet connection is required. A flickr.com account is recommended, but not necessary.
