The new 1.4 release adds new import capabilities. This is a free upgrade to all registered LicenseKeeper users.

 

Boston, MA - Outer Level today announced the immediate availability of LicenseKeeper 1.4, the easy-to-use software license and serial number manager for Mac OS X. This new version makes it much easier to import your existing software registration data from text files using comma separated or tab delimited formats.

 

LicenseKeeper stores and organizes important software license information, helping to prevent the loss of valuable software assets and making it accessible when needed most.

 

Automatic serial number scanning and software information detection greatly reduces cumbersome data entry. Attachments keep related email and documents safely archived along with license and registration records.

 

New in LicenseKeeper 1.4

 

* Import Serial Numbers from Text Files:

LicenseKeeper will now import registration data from spreadsheet compatible text files in the common Tab Delimited and Comma Separated formats.

 

* Import Serial Number Records from Yojimbo:

LicenseKeeper will copy data directly from your Yojimbo library and automatically add software icons and other related information.

 

* New Serial Number Scanner formats:

LicenseKeeper's Serial Number Scanner now recognizes even more registration email and serial number formats.

 

* Improvements to the Data Export User Interface:

LicenseKeeper remembers settings from your last export.

 

Version 1.4 improves LicenseKeeper in several ways including user interface tweaks and bug fixes.

 

Pricing and Availability:

LicenseKeeper is immediately available as a free trial download for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard). The LicenseKeeper free trial is fully functional, but limited to five products with three file attachments each.

 

A LicenseKeeper single-user license costs $19.95 USD at the Outer Level online store. LicenseKeeper 1.4 is a free upgrade to all previously registered customers.
