"The PIXMA MX850 is a really good all-in-one printer that offers an exceptional range of features and great overall performance for small and home offices. Its print quality and speed suit small-business environments well, while its premium photo printing engine offers the additional versatility of occasional photo printing. Text was crisp and perfectly legible - almost comparable to laser quality - and photo prints were similarly impressive. However, photos don't have quite the range of hue that 6-colour PIXMAs such as the PIXMA MP970 can produce, and scan quality wasn't up to par.
