Dangerous 0 Posted March 15, 2003 Hello, ehmmm .... if my linux doesn't recognize battery of my notebook i'll risk that linux recharge battery to infinity !!! ouhhhhhh i don't wanna explosion of my battery !!! now u'll think but i'm a newbie but really i've written Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Linux (all brand), Thriller of Michael Jackson and ... i don't remember.... chrispope 0 Posted December 11, 2003 Linux should not overcharge your battery since it is your laptop that handles the automatic regulation of charge from the ac input. Linux simply recognises when you are charging, how much battery is left, and if you are not charging. No worries, be happy.
