StewartG 0 Posted March 17, 2003 Depends on what you want the server to do but I use E-Smith 5.6, easy to configure Email, proxy, web and Samba server. Can even handle being a domain controller with roving windows profiles. Hardware requirements are low too. http://www.e-smith.org Did I mention it is free too??? Share this post Link to post

You can pick your bleed level, do on-line upgrades, even recover from MASSIVE stupidity... BUT, it is not for the Newbie to Linux at all...
