Quote - As far back as September and October of 2007, we were already digging up details of Intel's next-generation micro-architecture, codenamed Nehalem. Recently, we managed to lay our hands on insider information on the first Intel desktop processor based on the Nehalem micro-architecture. Codenamed Bloomfield, this processor will replace the quad-core 45nm Core 2 " Yorkfield" processors as Intel's flagship desktop processor.
