tony1c 0 Posted April 5, 2000 I can't run Win2K for more than 5 minutes now. I think it's the video driver... the one that I've been using for weeks now without incident. How can I determine if something got corrupted? Will reinstalling Win2K solve this? *SIGH* Tony Share this post Link to post
MSGuy 0 Posted April 5, 2000 to check if windows 2000 files have been corrupted run "sfc /scannow" from the command prompt. Share this post Link to post

Ge0ph 0 Posted April 6, 2000 Like MSGuy says: run "sfc /scannow" , it's the key to a stable W2k system. Share this post Link to post
haute 0 Posted April 6, 2000 .......the problem with "sfc /scannow" is that you have to be able to get into windows2k to use it. Usaly when somthing goes wrong for me im not even able to go into safe mode, I have to do a clean install Share this post Link to post
