“PNY’s XLR8 9800GTX OC is an overclocked version of nVidia’s 9800GTX, a

solid card but not a huge improvement on the 8800GTX. Pitched at enthusiast

games without the cash to splash on a spunky new GTX 200 Series, the XLR8

9800GTX OC is an attempt to inject a little more life into a once-flagship

graphics card for just £30 premium (around £220). But with jaw-dropping

GeForce 9800GX2 cards in the wild (two GeForce 9800 graphics processors on a

single card), is simply overclocking a 9800GTX enough? The answer is yes -
