TSPoon 0 Posted April 19, 2000 I just purchased the Hollywood+ DVD Decoder card, downloaded the beta drivers from RealMagic, followed all the installation instructions, and I get an error during the file copy process saying that it can't find the specified file. However, there is no file specified for me to know where the problem is. No matter what I do, I either get this error, or I get a blue screen stop error. Believe me, I've tried everything - setting PnP BIOS to OFF, redownloading the drivers, manually uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing. Specs: Gateway PIII-600 256MBs RAM nVidia Riva TNT2 SB Live Thanx in advance! Share this post Link to post
Seldzar 0 Posted April 19, 2000 Wierd, I got me one of those cards,(they are sweet as hell)You did install the drivers for the card first then install the apps right? I had no problems with the card. Try changing PCI slots. Share this post Link to post
evil Homer 0 Posted April 19, 2000 I had a similar problem with mine many moons ago when installing it under Windows 98. Try changing to PCI slot its in, as thats what I found worked, and haven't had trouble since, either with Win98 or Win2k evil Homer ------------------ "Screw you guys... I'm going home!"
