news 28 Posted July 30, 2008 Hey, Here is the second release of Swfdec in the unstable series leading up to Swfdec 0.8 in September. Swfdec is a decoder/renderer for Adobe Flash animations. It is provided as a library and a set of tools, like the Mozilla browser plugin. swfdec-0.7.4 "Diabloe" http://swfdec.freedesktop.org/download/swfdec/0.7/swfdec-0.7.4.tar.gz MD5: 08fcda4a46454bfc66b97fba2d385f8c swfdec-mozilla-0.7.4 "Whites won again" http://swfdec.freedesktop.org/download/swfdec-mozilla/0.7/swfdec-mozilla-0.7.4.tar.gz MD5: c5958f3b003190b21977495021ac2b28 This time we have nothing new to brag about. No cool new sites that work, no cool new visible features, just lots of work. So I'll stop here and not show off talk about boring features like the support for color transforms or BitmapData objects, speed improvements or bug fixes. Even though this is a development release, Swfdec still follows the no-crashes-allowed policy. Should you still succeed in finding a crasher, please immediately file a bug at https://bugs.freedesktop.org. Known issue: Windowless Flash files can make Mozilla browsers such as Firefox 3.0 crash. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435764 for details, patches and unaffected versions. For more information about Swfdec, see http://swfdec.freedesktop.org Cheers, Benjamin _______________________________________________ Share this post Link to post
