UDMA in Win2k not working: VIA MVP3

Recommended Posts

I have a A-Trend 5220 motherboard with VIA's MVP3 chipset.

UDMA mode refuses to activate for the primary IDE channel in Windows 2000 Pro.

Worked fine under WinNT & 98.

Errors are reported in Event Viewer (ID's 5 & 11).

I'm desperate... PIO mode is soooo bad (90% CPU utilization).
