Microsoft Natural Pro keyboard

Recommended Posts

Who actually owns one of these? I see from the specifications that the keyboard has a two-port USB hub, and also has connectors at the end of the cable for USB and PS/2. Can the USB plug actually function as the sole means of getting the keyboard to communicate with the computer (that is, without using the PS/2 plug), or is it nothing more than a way to attach the USB hub to the computer?

It sure can! You just need to make sure that you have usb keyboard support enabled in the bios.

Why would you need those drivers?

What extras do they add? I have a MS Natural Keyboard pro, and I have been using the software that came with it, and everything has been working 100%.

The drivers are updated, I don' know why. For me, the reason to DL and install was the speedkey program now works properly under W2K (i.e. it works now). You can access the calculator, media, etc.
